Life as a struggling writer can be quite depressing and so so disheartening… Through my struggles, I found my
inspiration Diablo Cody, who is a genius and a master of her craft!
Cody has proven that there isn’t a fixed pathway to success. Through her, I
have proof and evidence that with hard work, perseverance, mental instability
(as defined by society) and of course sound advice you can write yourself out
of hell, if the situation so arose. “I am not saying Cody is mentally
unstable… I am following the footsteps of her Twitter bio, which says
“Pariah.”
I also strongly believe that there is a Cody in all of us.
While I was busy pimpin’ WriteLikeCody.Com (now FempireFandom.Com) and getting new staff to write on it,
basically just diving in and out of the Wild Wild Web, I found out about three wonderful women who are Diablo Cody’s writing partners, Dana Fox, Liz Meriwether and Lorene Scafaria. And Karen Gilmore of Reel Artsy was not very far when I made the discovery. These three women have not won Oscars yet, not yet anyway, but they know their shit.
